Debris in Sudthorpe Hill, Fulbeck

After rainfall debris washes down Fulbeck High Street towards the junction with Washdyke Lane and onwards into the lower part of Sudthorpe Hill where it settles on the road surface and against the kerb and drainage culverts, which interferes with the flow of water that drains into the beck. The problem has become worse since the roads in the village were treated to a top dressing of granite chippings last year. Please can a road sweeper be regularly deployed to Sudthorpe Hill to stop the build up of debris as described and to assist in keeping the drainage culverts clear. A road sweeper is occasionally seen in the village but it never goes along Sudthorpe Hill.
