Damaged road name plates.

Reported via desktop in the Street nameplates category by Nicholas Stephen Walker at 09:40, Friday 28 August 2026

Sent to South Kesteven District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 10015845.

The street nameplate on the north side of the entrance into The Paddock is damaged. This was done by a vehicle that was part of the road resurfacing team earlier this year. The 'ganger' said he would report it and get it fixed but no action has occurred. Additionally, the nameplate on the south side of the entrance is missing its 'T' (no through route) sign. Both of these aspects are an issue as on several occasions we have had HGV enter the close thinking they have a way through (mio satnav issue). I think it is confusing Pearce's Lane with The Paddock! Large HGV's cannot turn round in the close.
