Wheelie Bin full/overflowing with dog waste bags
Reported via mobile in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 13:58, Thursday 17 September 2026
Sent to South Kesteven District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 10112708.
This bin is located at the entrance to a public footpath opposite the junction of Raymond Mays Way and The Gables (Elsea Park). I'm not sure whose responsibility it is to empty this bin, it has been at the same location for quite some time and appeared to be emptied on a regular basis. However, it looks like it has not been emptied for a while as it now appears to be full and, in fact, overflowing. People are now leaving their dog waste bags on top of the bin lid and the surrounding area.

Although the status is fixed/resolved, the attached photo taken a few minutes ago clearly shows the issue is still there.

As you can see from the latest photo, the issue is still there and the pile of poo bags is still growing. With the weather remaining warm/sunny, the flies have increased and the smell is disgusting. Is there any way that the status of this issue could be updated, ie, is it on the council's 'to do' list yet and is there a forecast date for it to be resolved?
