Abandoned Land Rover Outside House

Abandoned vehicle – Land Rover Freelander, registration BG56 MYS

I wish to report what appears to be an abandoned silver Land Rover Freelander, registration BG56 MYS, which has been left near my property.

The vehicle has remained there without any apparent attempt being made to recover or repair it. Individuals have attended the vehicle and removed tools and other items from it, but the Land Rover itself has simply been left behind.

I understand that the vehicle may have a faulty alternator, but no arrangements appear to have been made for breakdown recovery or removal. The people who attended to remove the tools arrived in a separate truck, registration BD08 ZWK. That vehicle appeared to have issues concerning its tax/SORN status (i.e. it is being driven about on a SORN), which may be relevant if the council or another authority wishes to investigate further.

This is a heavily parked residential street and the Land Rover is occupying limited roadside space immediately outside my property. I would be grateful if the council could inspect it, establish whether it meets the criteria for an abandoned vehicle, and arrange for its removal as soon as possible.
