Maintenance of Hawthorne hedge

Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 17:17, Sat 21 October 2017

Sent to South Kesteven District Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1130439.

There is a long Hawthorne hedge that grows between the back of the properties on Lauriston Road overlooking the new footpath and railway bridge. Who is responsible for it maintenance? With Spring growth this hedge will start to block out day light onto the properties. It needs a winter thrashing cut before new growth. There has been previous maintenance at the allotment end will this now be continued down its length? Thank you.

  • I have had a reply that the issue has been passed to the highways department to review but not heard anything since. The hedge has not had anything done to it.
