Road is extremely muddy from the quarry

Sent to South Kesteven District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7042734.

The road is very dirty from all the lorries coming from the quarry. the road isnt wide enough as their wheels cut into the verges causing the road to get even muddier. It is dangerous when it is wet and gets on your windscreen. It is making cars filthy. There's also rubble that gets in the mud and hits cars. I had my windscreen chipped because of this. It needs to be cleaned regularly.

  • Totally agree,the road is absolutely disgusting,nothing but a mud bath every day,why are the quarry owners allowed to leave it in this state,the quarry should be shut down until they can prove their activities are not detrimental to the other road users. This is also the case further around the corner at the Goldhome quarry.The roads are disgusting.
