Heath Road from BELTON Village to Barkstone Heath

Reported via mobile in the Litter category anonymously at 16:18, Sun 2 March 2025

Sent to South Kesteven District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7213296.

There is a decaying carcass from an animal on the verge/ road: in my experience the animal would be the size of a 20kg dog. It is in a very decayed state. When I cycled past it yesterday, it was on the verge: today it was in the middle of the road.

The location on the carcass is approximately 50 yds beyond the top of the first hill as you leave BELTON Village travelling in the direction of Barkstone Heath RAF Station.

I am afraid I am unsure as to whether the local authorities have any responsibility for removing and disposing of such remains.
