Bags of rubbish

Reported via mobile in the Flytipping category anonymously at 07:16, Sun 24 August 2025

Sent to South Kesteven District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8066023.

I first reported these bags of rubbish months ago but they are still there. Now what has happened is that the foxes and cats have started to rip them open. Originally they were behind the chain link fence (no man’s land because SKDC and canal won’t admit who it belongs too) there are still a couple of bags there. But now they have been dragged on to the footpath

  • The rubbish is starting to smell really bad. I’ve counted 10 bags now. This was first reported 22 weeks ago The cats, fox have started to rip the bags open. I can’t see any information from where they came from. I have tried to look for an address in one of the open bags

  • Yes eventually the rubbish has been cleared after the council visited many times saying it wasn’t their responsibility as it was private land. But indeed it is council land and now has been cleared.
