Safety Issues

Sent to South Kesteven District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8405262.

Flags have been attached to a number of Lampost all along Harrowby Lane. They will eventually rot through and if are blown into the road they could cause a driver to have their vision damage. They will become torn and ragged and become weighted down with snow, rain, ice. It is time they were politely removed.

  • They are beginning to break the fixings now and look dirty & ragged... When they fall & cause an accident LCC will be held responsible.

  • The flags are now tattered and torn. Some are hanging by a single plastic tie strap. When they fall on a car or pedestrian. LCC will be responsible because you have allowed unauthorised attachments to lamp posts. it's in the name..Flags go on flag posts. Lamps go on lamp posts. LCC continue to act responsible.

  • The flags are in tatters,torn and dirty. They are hanging by a single plastic tie strap and some in the trees. Your inaction makes us aware that you care little for this area of Grantham,it is a disgrace to see these tattered bits of cloth which represent the uk. Accident waiting to happen and also against planning and legislation.

  • Flags are now torn and hanging by a thread. LCC know it is illegal and have done nothing to rectify this issue. Some are now hung in the trees. When they cause an accident or are on the road it will be LCC who are responsible for all liabilities.
